Added by: hiway11My Dad, Tommy Alfano, was a medic with the 3rd Bat 116th Inf 29th Div from around January 1944 through the end of the war. He made the landings on D-Day on Omaha beach with L company. He was attached to A company during the initial fighting in Normandy. I believe he also served with M company during the war.
