Harold E Gifford was the Co-Pilot in the Eastbourn Flight Crew. The crew joined the 392nd Bomb Squadron on Saipan at the end of January 1945. They were based on Saipan, and their most frequent targets were Iwo Jima and Chichi Jima. They seem to have stayed with the 392nd when it returned to Hawaii in Mar 1945.
