Sikeston - Funeral service for Donald J. Pasaka of Sikeston will be held Thursday at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel here. Burial will be in the Memorial Park Cemetery.

Mr. Pasaka, 70 years old, died Monday at Missouri Delta Medical Center here.

He was born May 11, 1920, at Lake Geneva, Wis. He first married Joy Edwards in 1944, she died May 12, 1981. He later married Glenda Gardner on April 6, 1984.

He was postmaster at Sikeston for a number of years, retiring in 1987. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church here.

He served in the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II, and after his discharge served as captain of the Army reserve unit here.

Survivors include his wife; a son, John Pasaka; and three grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Cheri Howell in 1983, and two brothers and a sister.
