Some of you may not realize that Dad once worked as a brakeman on the Frisco (St. Louis-San Francisco Railroad). His brother, Roy, worked for the same railroad until his retirement. You can view an actual copy of his ( and Roy's) Frisco employee cards. Go to:

http://thelibrary.org/lochist/frisco/frisco.cfm and click on "Employee Cards" and then type in "Hood". Scroll down to J V Hood and click.

I realized later that if you scroll down farther you see the name of the father or below that the name of the mother. I was surprised to find other names I recognized. I found Roy's name for the father of Jerry. And, Daddy's sister Lounell's (Martha Lounell) name for her son J. D. Their cards are not available for viewing on the website, but some info is given.
