Sandy Wilson, 42, of Tuscumbia died Tuesday, Dec. 10, 1991 at California of gunshot injuries she suffered while working as a deputy. She had been a Miller County deputy sheriff for several years.

She was born Nov. 6, 1949 in St. Louis to Eulos B. and Margie M. Brown Shaver. On July 20, 1968 she was married in House Springs to Robert R. Wilson, who survives at the family home.

Mrs. Wilson was a member of Faith Assembly of God at House Springs and the NRA. She had lived in Miller County for seven years, moving here from Cedar Hill.

Other survivors are her mother and step-father, Elbert and Margie Wheatley of Des Peres; a son, Jason Wilson of the home; a daughter, Stacy Wilson of the home.

Visitation will be held from 1 to 4 p.m. Friday at Griswold-Kays Funeral Home in Eldon. Funeral services will be held at 5 p.m. Friday at the Eldon First Baptist Church with the Rev. Randall Bunch officiating. Services also will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Chapel Hill Mortuary in Cedar Hill with the Rev. Jum McConnell officiating. Burial will be in Chapel Hill Cemetery.
