Rosemarie (Hanson) Berry (1931 -2005) was a wonderful mother to John V. Berry, her son, and a caring wife for John W. Berry, her husband of 35 years when she passed on 6 Apr 2005 in Myrtle Beach, SC. She was born on 8 Sept 1931, but her birth certificate in Detroit, MI lists 9 Sept 1931 because the doctor that delivered her at night promptly feel asleep shortly afterwords, filling out the necessary birth paperwork the next day.

She was the daughter of Ernest (Ernst) Albin Hanson (Hansson), a Swedish immigrant from the Malmo, Sweden area, born in 1881 and who passed in 1942. Rosemarie's mother was Laura Marie (Palmer) Hanson, who was born in 1892 in St. Clair County, Michigan, and who passed away in Detroit in or around the year 1968.

She had lived most of her life in Detroit Michigan, but left in 2003 to move with her husband John W. Berry to a new house on his family's land. She also lived in Honolulu, Hawaii, Miami, Florida, and Kodiak, Alaska. A legal secretary by trade, she worked for many year for her older brother, Victor G. Hanson in his law practice in Detroit, Michigan. She married John W. Berry at age 39, and had her first and only child, John V. Berry, a year later. She was an amazing mother.

Rosemarie's best friend was Eileen Kirby from Detroit and Plymouth, Michigan, who passed away in 2008, another kind and good person, Rosemarie is missed by us all and we love her.
