According to the 1900 census: Born Dec 1871, England. Resides at 82 Bogle Street, Fall River, MA. Occupation listed as Tea Salesman. Listed as "Divorced". William immigrated from England to US in 1884. He lived with his 8 year old son Alfred E Vickers, b. Aug 1891. Alfred's mother is listed as being born in England, no name was listed.

30 Mar 1889 William and Janet Lambert (b.1871) were married. William is listed at 22 years old at the time and Janet 18. She was the daughter of Joseph (b.1831 Eng) and Margaret Lambert (unkn) and sister to Joseph (b.1865) who was 15 at the time. Janet was borne in Fall River, MA. Both parents are listed as being born in England. According to the 1880 census Janet's name was listed as "Jenett". Alfred E Vickers was born (1893), though at some point between 1889 to 1900 William and Janet were divorced. At this time I cant confirm who is the mother of Alfred.. could have been Janet while they were married or maybe by Margaret previous to their marriage… or someone else?? Anyone have an actual birth record?

14 Jan 1902 William married Margaret Hardman who was listed as 25 and born in England. On this marriage record William's parents are listed as Joseph and Isabella (Pelling maiden name). William's date of birth is listed as 1869 and age 33. This differs from other records of 1871 and 1870. They lived together at the time on 72 Swindells, Fall River, MA. At some poit he joined the Teamsters.

1910 Census lists William (b.1870, 40 yo) married to Margaret (33 yo). Their children are:Alfred (17 yo), Ernest (6 yo), Florence (4 yo) and Margaret (3 yo).

29 May 1913 Alfred E Vickers (20 yo) married Carrie Nuttal (24 yo). Alfred was listed as living on 633 County, Fall River, MA and occupation as Teamster. Carrie was listed as living on 477 Fourth, Fall River, MA and occupation as weaver.

1920 Census lists William (b.1870, 50 yo) married to Margaret (43 yo). Their children are:Ernest H (16 yo), Florence A (14 yo), Margaret (12 yo) and James W (9 months old). There is a Peter Hardman (37 yo) living with the family too. I assume this was a relative of Margaret.
