ayne , as he was known to everyone , was born Jan15,1923 at Gill,Lincoln County, West Virginia to Andrew and Nancy Frye Cyfers the youngest of eleven children. After High School, where he played football, he served during WWll in 187th Glider Inf. 11th Airborne (paratroopers) and served again in the Korean Conflict .He married Ruth B Spears in 1950 and In 1966 the Cyfers family moved to Price, Utah where he died on December 12th 2017. In spring /summer of 2018 his ashes will be returned to the West Virginia hills and buried in the Spears family cemetery at Union Gap,Lincoln County, West Virginia. Joe Kieffer
