This is my mother's uncle, William J.Hoster. Mom was the daughter of Ralph C.Duckett and granddaughter of Parke Curtis Duckett. After Parke Duckett died in 1911, his widow married William Jonas Hoster and had a son William in 1920. William's half brother Ralph had a daughter in 1925, so my Mom and her uncle actually attended Haddonfield High School at the same time. Uncle Bill left high school to join the service.

In 1940, he was a private in the U.S. Marines, stationed at the Marine Barracks in Quantico,VA. I still have a letter he wrote to my Mom from overseas. He married my Aunt Irene, probably after World War II. I think they had children, but I don't know them now. Anyone who see this,if you know anything about the family, I would love to hear from you.
