search of Footnote's resources has provided me with an application from my Great-great grandfather to the Confederate States for reimbursement for supplies and his signature. Another search of the Southern Claims Commission provided information from m1407. Jacob, his wife Edna and their youngest son-Jacob W. L. Cleckler all had contributed information. my great grandfather who was 22 and his father was 66 years of age. This was a rare gem-a glimpse into their Civil War era lives. Thr information dated from 1863-1873. I was surprised that the later dates were in Catoosa co and not just Walker co. I look forward to more searches.
