There is listed a Tibbs Hollow on the present day topographical maps bordering Dekalb in White County. Does anyone know when and who this was named for, Drury? In 1840 Drury and John Tibbs are listed as heads of households in district 8 Dekalb County Census. 1850 Smith Tn. Census, South Division. Household 385 William Tibbs 30 M, Susan 31 F, Martha 12 F, Pleasant 10 M, Jane 7 F, William 4 M, Elizabeth 2 F.
